Quilt Retreat ...a quilting get-away with Margaret J. Miller & Nancy Lee Chong

A wonderful time was had by all at our third retreat - "Seaside Celebration!"

Our theme was the perfect backdrop for lots of fun and beautiful quilts!

Colorful mesh beach bags,
filled with gifts awaited our guests
Wednesday afternoon.

Sunglasses and visors set the stage for our "Seaside Celebration!" dinner Wednesday night .

Thursday morning found everyone gathered around Nancy and Margaret to begin their instructions.

It did not take long for parts and pieces to emerge on the design walls.

With just a little more hand stitching, pressing, and machine stitching...

...and some basting, even more of the quilts appeared on design walls

Pacific Rim Quilt Company's on-site shop provided
lots of opportunity to find fabrics, thread and
notions for this and future projects.

Charlotte proudly displayed her completed 2006 Pieceful Harbor Retreat quilt at
Show & Tell one evening.

We wrapped things up Sunday morning with
our "Give Yourself a Hand" awards.

Even after everyone else had packed up,
a few just could not put their needles down!
